How Fairground Attractions Will Benefit Your Event
Festival goers primarily come for the music, yes. But ask any of them what makes a good festival and they will tell you “a great atmosphere”! Fairground rides add another exciting element to events such as these and provide an all important alternative form of entertainment to a captive audience. With the many overhead costs involved in running a festival, it is important that you think of alternative ways of pouring funds back in other than ticket sales alone. As well as providing fun for your visitors, the addition of a Fun Fair is a great way of generating revenue from your event.
The most common and straight forward financial arrangement for these kinds of events is for us to pay you a set fee for an area within the festival site. We would then take it from there and fill that space with the most suitable attractions tailored for the event. Alternatively, it is possible for us to pay you “per ride”.
The financial options available will largely be determined by the event size and popularity (attendance figures may be required) time of year, location and whether the event is well established or not. This can all be discussed with our friendly team.

What You May Need To Consider
When adding attractions to your event, there are several things to consider logistically:
Access - How is access to the site? The larger rides are transported on large trucks (approximately the size a supermarket lorry). Therefore, they require good clear access to the site. You should think about roadways, gates, overhead obstructions, trees and other obstacles.
Weight Limits - Some rides are very heavy so you should consider any weight limits that may be in place.
Suitability Of The Ground - Most attractions will require level, hard-standing ground on which to be sited. If your site has a slight gradient, some attractions will be able to adapt to a certain extent. If you plan to site your rides on a field which is soft, rides may become stuck which will of course cause problems. The recovery of stuck rides and vehicles can be costly, time consuming and cause damage to both the rides/vehicles and ground.
Lead Tme - We have successfully organised and executed events at short notice. However, the more time we have to work on an event, the wider your choice of attractions will be and the less chance there will be of problems arising.
